Here are a few photographs from a shoot we did of Lord Baker and students at the UTC on Pride Park in Derby. The former education and home secretary is one of the key supporters of UTCs and the program as a whole is sponsored by the Baker Dearing Trust, an educational trust set up by Lord Baker.
Derby Manufacturing University Technical College is one of 44 new University Technical Colleges (UTCs) being launched across the country. UTCs offer a new concept in education for 14-19 year olds.
