Sir David King is and an exponent and leader on practical governmental actions to tackle the climate crises. He lead the launch of Mission Innovation in 2015. Sir David was at an event I photographed in Nottingham to talk about how we can avert climate change. The fascinating lecture centred around the collaborative programme project between 22 countries spending $22bn pa on R&D to deliver post-fossil-fuel era technologies. He continues work directed towards alerting governments and institutions around the world to the dangers of the escalating climate crisis and the urgent need for a committed programme of 'climate repair'.
