The steel purlin systems by the Hadley group are a great example of British engineering innovation. It is stronger and lighter than existing designs realising many advantages. I love these jobs, I got the best seat in the house, 80 feet above the ground on a rather windy day. Here are a selection of a few photographs of construction underway.
Reviewing these after 8 years I would have done a very different job now. For a start a project like this would lend itself well to drone photography.
