I love shooting new building projects. Architectural photography poses it's own challenges. The decisive moment is extended beyond a fraction of a second, but never the less the time and viewpoint are just as crucial. Generally light is more flattering during the hour after and before sunrise. In this case the student accommodation block is shadowed by tall buildings either side, so it's a case of finding the best compromise. The sun and shadows move with surprising speed when you're in the process of setting up a shot. Click this link if you want to see other examples of my Architectural Photography. The photos are 1920 px wide so may take a little time to load, on the upside you can see the details and quality better.
