Industrial Photography

Should you commission a specialist industrial photographer for you next project?

How will it help me?

Professionally shot Industrial Photography is a visual asset that helps businesses win more work.

The point is to support your efforts to win more business.

How will you achieve this this?

Strong visual imagery underpinned by a relevant narrative will support your marketing and PR efforts by grabbing attention, building trust and complimenting your other marketing activities. People like visuals. Photography is a quick and effective way to illustrate your message and an important marketing asset

What are my choices?

It most cases it comes down to three options, all of which have their good and bad points. The easiest option is to ask the engineer or technician working on a project or process to take photos on their phone. This can work from an illustrative point of view but the overall impression this creates may not reflect your values and professionalism of the business.

The other two options are between a generalist photographer / videographer or an experienced industrial photographer who specialises in photography for the industrial, manufacturing and construction sector.

Industrial Photographer vs Generalist photographer

The cost between these options may not be be much but, the outcomes could vary significantly. A specialty industrial photographer, such as ourselves, will know how to use and exploit the technical challenges of photography in industrial environments. Most importantly though they will know that an industrial photography shoot is a process. It doesn't need to be complicated, but starts with a conversation. We know, what questions to ask, what advice to give and how to structure the day to get the most out of a shoot.

The benefit of industrial photography experience

We help you get the most out of the photo shoot and work with you or your marketing agency to ensure you get what you need by planning and preparing.

We work to your requirements.

Pre-Site Visit

We know how to get the best out of a photo shoot. Often we will do a free pre-site visit to discuss the brief, in the location where the shoot will take place. It's an opportunity to work out shot locations and to help you and your team prepare for the shoot.

Through experience gained from photographing in many factories, manufacturing plants and construction sites, we have a good idea how to set up shots and know what works well. You can expect us to deliver photography that has visual impact and shows the processes and narratives that explain your business.

We have full PPE and hold a ECTIB Safety Passport. We are fully insured and hold CHAS accreditation.

Creating a visual asset ctor ex

On a typical industrial photography shoot, we will photograph machinery, people and processes that work with your marketing. The photography you receive will work across multiple platforms such as web, print and social media. It has been our experience that clients use our photography as a resource for PR and marketing for several years.

A good investment?r

We think so. It is almost certain you already use photography and your current and future clients will come across your website and marketing material. Photography is a key component so we believe it is import to take control of this process and not only do it well but take maximum advantage of the opportunity it presents.

The End Game

It is good to have clear and defined goals. Our aim is to help you to get noticed, to build trust and establish a relationship that leads to you winning more business.
