Derby Museum’s Mo Suleman

Derby Museum’s Mo Suleman

A few photographs from a editorial shoot for AB Magazine, for an article they are running on Mo Suleman, Director of Resources for the Derby Museum Trust.  Editorial shoots are great for a photographer as they allow a little more freedom to be creative. Given the location there were many options, even if the lighting conditions were challenging.

I was fortunate to have a personal tour from Mo and the first surprise was the award winning cafe called the Coffee House.

As we walked around Mo spoke about some of the changes he has made and his ambitions for Derby’s Museums and city center Library. In a nutshell, to raise their profile within the City and realisie their potential, to fulfill an active role in the cultural, social, education and business spheres of the city and wider community.  Here is an example of the right man at the right time.  It is encouraging to find his combination of business acumen and ambitious vision driving positive change in Derby.

If you haven’t been to the museum for a while it really is worth a visit.
